For Those Who Know There's More to Life Than This

Therapy for people seeking depth, truth, and transformation.

You might be at a point in your life where something feels off—not broken, necessarily, but unfinished. Like there's a deeper version of you waiting beneath the surface, but something keeps getting in the way. Maybe it’s anxiety, unprocessed grief, past trauma, or just the sense that you’ve been living in survival mode instead of from your true self.

Therapy can be a space to slow down, get curious, and reconnect with what really matters to you. Together, we’ll explore the parts of you that feel stuck, the pain that hasn’t yet had a voice, and the possibilities that might open up when you start living more fully aligned with who you are.

A Place Where You Don’t Have to Edit Yourself

Counselling for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks ready to show up fully and safely.

Being part of the LGBTQ+ community can come with layers of complexity—especially when your history includes adverse religious experiences, family conflict, or the long journey toward self-acceptance. At Compass and Arrow Counselling, I offer a space that is affirming, grounded, and informed by lived experience. You won’t need to explain the basics here—you can simply show up as you are, with all the parts of you that want to be seen, heard, and understood.

Many of my LGBTQ+ clients are working through grief, shame, or uncertainty shaped by the past. Others are exploring identity, relationships, or just trying to feel more at home in themselves. Using an Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, we’ll explore the protective parts that helped you survive, the tender parts that still hurt, and the authentic parts ready to come forward. I work relationally and collaboratively—sometimes with humour, sometimes in quiet, but always with care. This is a space where you don’t have to hold back.

For Men Seeking a More Authentic Connection with Self and Others

Come as you are. No judgment. Just the courage to grow.

Men often face unique challenges when it comes to expressing emotions or seeking support. Many grew up learning to deflect feelings with humour, to “handle it” alone, or to keep vulnerabilities hidden. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.

I work with many men who want to understand themselves better but might feel unsure about how to “do” emotions or get nervous about opening up. Here, there’s no pressure to get it right or perform. Instead, therapy is a curious and collaborative journey where we explore your inner world gently and without judgment. Together, we’ll meet the parts of you that protect, deflect, or hurt—and find healthier ways to relate to them.

This is a welcoming, grounded, and respectful space where you can bring your whole self, however that looks.

For Couples, Families, and Friends Wanting Deeper Relationships

Discover deeper connection through compassionate, parts-based therapy.

Relationships are a dynamic dance of connection, misunderstanding, growth, and sometimes pain. At Compass and Arrow Counselling, I work with couples, families, and friends using an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approach to deepen understanding between partners and within each individual. This collaborative and interactive process creates a safe space where everyone’s voice and feelings are honored. Couples friends, and families often find they can uncover the deeper emotions and patterns shaping their interactions, making room for healing, improved communication, and renewed closeness.

Whether you’re facing conflict, navigating transitions, or simply wanting to strengthen your bonds, this work supports you in moving forward together with compassion and authenticity.
